Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Mercure was a tranquil retreat, perfect for unwinding. The spa services offered a serene escape, complemented by the hotel's lovely rooms and great breakfast options. While the front staff was accommodating, the language proficiency of the bar/restaurant staff could improve. The elegance of the original stonework at the front entrance paired beautifully with the surrounding palm trees, enhancing the ambiance. The hotel's art pieces added a touch of sophistication to the decor, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for a weekend getaway or business trip. The location also had unexpected charms, such as a charming square and church just a stroll away. Although the establishment could benefit from more English-speaking TV channels and grab rails in the bathrooms, the overall experience was rejuvenating. For a peaceful stay in a beautiful setting, Mercure is a decent choice.
